Hotel Saint Cecilia

Hotel Saint Cecilia is a secluded estate in Austin's South Congress district. Named in honor of the patron saint of music and poetry, these accommodations take inspiration from the experimentation of 60's writers like William Burroughs, the darling and extravagance of groups like the Stones in the early 70's and the defiance of convention embodied by artists like Miro and Warhol in the late 50's and early 60's. Each of the five didtinct suites, six poolside bungalows and three studios that span theis private wooded property have been designed and furnished to stir the poet and artist in each of us.

Look for a full feature in the next Refueled magazine, the decor issue, due out this Spring.

It's OK to travel only 3 hours away to spend the weekend in a fabulous hotel just because...right? This place looks so homey and quite heavenly. Thanks for sharing - I have a new favorite getaway spot. xx
