Hands of Spring

Garden style sweetheart Thersa of Garden Antique Vintage unearthed some great finds at the recent Canton, Texas First Monday sale. Thersa knows the things I love and has often written offering me first choice on items with just the right Urban Prairie style. My recent purchase from her? Vintage, cracked mannequin hands. She let me know that some of the fingers seemed to have been reconnected and looked a little off. That's all I had to hear.

Chris: I couldn't think of anyone better than you that would love something like this as much as I, just wish I would have bought more the first time I saw them almost 3 months ago. Oh well, maybe the girl will unearth more, literally. She said the guy she bought them from dug them up from beside a house, makes me wonder why they would be all piled beside an old house?

Darn! I was at Canton - how did I miss those hands?!?!? All I got was an old metal baby bed. Those hands are utterly awesome!
